- Don't worry, the name itself can be a struggle for incomers: Gzowski is pronounced "ZAAAW-SKI"
- Gzowski College was founded in 2003 and is named after CBC broadcaster Peter Gzowski who was also Trent's 8th chancellor.
- Our college mascot is BAMM the moose (you will learn what it stands for during ISW heh heh heh)
- The building includes the First Peoples House of Learning, a home for the Native Studies department, and two lecture halls, a 100-seat performance space, a 60-seat case study room and eight smaller classrooms.
- Gzowski is Trent's youngest college celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, d'awwwwwh.
- The building itself is named Enweying, which translates from Nishnaabewin as "The way we speak together."
- Shared within the building is the First People's House of Learning. The design, colours, and the aboriginal art collection found throughout the building are all visible reminders of our important collaboration.
- The colour of the building has a specific name: Ochre Number 33.
- Our college is often referred to as "The Cheese" due to it's unique and creative design which, well, resembles a big 'ol block of cheddar cheese.
- Our college houses the Environmental Sustainability Living Learning Community (LLC). Members promote environmental initiatives in our college, help run the Ten Thousand Villages event in Gzowski, participate in “Sustainable Trent” activities, and explore indigenous concepts of community. Environmental Sustainability Living Learning Community is located in residence and has positively impacted Trent campus life by heightening environmental awareness in and around Gzowski College!

- Gzowski College is located on the East Bank of the Otonabee River.
- There are 250 single rooms located in residence with a semi-private washroom shared with one,same gender bathroom-mate.
